Easier, Faster, More Flexible Course Authoring

Built on Rapid Intake's flexible Flash and XML platform, eLearning Studio™ (formerly Unison™) is a cloud-based solution that allows designers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to collaboratively manage media, storyboard, develop, review, and publish e-learning courses without having to know Flash.

Novice users and content owners work in the WYSIWYG visual layout environment, convert PowerPoint presentations, or fill out easy form-based templates to create interactive learning activities and courses. Advanced users create reusable custom templates by accessing the Flash source code (.fla) SDK. Output is SCORM compliant and works on PC and Mac browsers, as well as most touchscreen mobile devices.

Engaging Learners with Rapid Intake's eLearning Studio™

Rapid Intake's eLearning Studio™ (formerly Unison) includes several types of highly interactive pages that are easy to use and sure to engage your learners:

Games: Implementing games into your eLearning course is a great way to give your learners a chance to practice the things they are learning in a fun and competitive way. Games can also serve as a type of informal assessment for your learner—making it clear to each learner which concepts they know well and which concepts they need to spend more time reviewing. Unison offers five different games in addition to puzzles, and drag and drop terms and definitions.

Simulations: Unison offers a Soft Skills simulator that allows learners to be faced with different linking scenarios and make choices. Correct choices will earn the learner more points. Incorrect choices will deduct points. In the end, you can offer feedback on every choice that was made so the learner understands what was appropriate and inappropriate about every choice that was made.

Quizzes: There are twelve different types of questions to choose from that you can include in a quiz. Adding questions that include sound clips, drag and drop activities, image multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank and essay type questions will keep your learners on their toes, as well as testing the depth of their knowledge.

Media Variety: Besides text and images, you can also implement video, flash animations, PowerPoint presentations, and audio clips into the course. Having a variety of media allows you to present your information in new ways and help your learner make deeper learning connections.

Advanced Interactions: Premium Professional Users have access to nine new advanced interactions that include new and interactive diagrams (such as Venn diagrams and concentric circle illustrations), additional word and spin-the-wheel games, more drag and drop interactions, surveys, and case study activities.
