What are the system requirements for Rapid Intake?

Note: system requirements only apply to those using Rapid Intake tools to author or review courses. Requirements to access published courses are much more lenient.

Browser Requirements
To ensure developers have the best experience possible during development and review, please use one of the following Internet browsers:
• Internet Explorer 6.x and above on PCs
• FireFox 3 and above on PCs
• Google Chrome 10.x and above on PCs
• Safari 3 and higher on Mac
• FireFox 3 and higher on Mac
If developing for mobile devices, you must use one of the following browsers in order to preview the course from your desktop:
• Google Chrome 10 and above on PCs
• Safari 3 and higher on Mac
Note: because of decreasing global support for IE 6, please use another browser whenever possible.

Flash Player Requirements
Rapid Intake Authoring tools require Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher. Courses produced using Rapid Intake can be run in Flash Player 7 or higher.

Bandwidth Requirements
Rapid Intake is a rich-client business web application designed for high-speed internet connections. These tools require an available bandwidth of at least 256kbps (DSL or higher).

Which Mobile devices are supported by Rapid Intake?

mLearning Studio is a web-kit solution that uses the latest in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript technologies to provide a rich, intuitive experience for your learners. Because of the ever-chaning landscape of mobile devices available, some devices may not play courses as they have been designed. Fully supported devices include:

• iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
• Android phones and tablets, software version 2.3 or higher
• Blackberry Torch and Playbook

Other devices may read content properly, but are not officially supported. As mobile technology improves and becomes more standard, we will continue adding support for a broader range of devices.

Are Rapid Intake's mobile courses SCORM compliant?

mLearning Studio can publish SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 compliant courses, complete with quizzes. When publishing the course, you can specify your SCORM settings. The published course file will include all the necessary SCORM files to run inside of your LMS.
